Directions:  From the South—take I-39/US 51 North till Hwy 66 East. Go East about 15 miles.  Take a left at Hwy A.  About ¾ of a mile down you will see the Lions Camp on your left.  

When: February 15th - 17th, 2013
          Retreat begins 7PM Friday and ends at Noon Sunday.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Scott Hahn 
Dr. Scott Hahn is an internationally renowned Catholic author and speaker. Dr. Hahn studied and was ordained a Protestant Minister in 1982. He was received into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil in 1986 and often tells of his conversion experience. Currently, Dr. Hahn is a Professor of Theology and Scripture at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. Over 500 of his presentations have been produced on audio and video tapes and he can be seen on various programs on EWTN Catholic television station. He and his wife, Kimberly, live in Steubenville and have six children.

The three talks Dr. Hahn will give are the following:
The Fourth Cup: Looking at the close connection between the Passover and the Eucharist. What did Jesus refer to when he said, “It is finished”?
Letter & Spirit: Dr. Hahn gives thoughtful exploration through the complex relationship between the Bible and the Catholic liturgy. He offers insights into what the Bible teaches us about living the spiritual life and describes how the liturgy brings about the “actualization” of the saving truths of Scripture.
The Bible, The Eucharist, and the New Evangelization
What is the New Evangelization and why is it the greatest priority of the Church at this time? Why did Bl. John Paul II teach that Catholic evangelization must be based on the Eucharist? What difference does the Eucharist make when it comes to explaining Jesus' death and resurrection? How do we as Catholics understand the need for - and the process of - conversion? This talk also looks at how we can share our faith with family members, friends and co-workers. As Pope Benedict reminds us, there is even a need for "evangelizing the baptized".

Keynote Speaker: Dr. John Buri
John Buri, Ph.D., is a professor of Psychology at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He and the love of his life, Kathy, also his high school sweetheart, have been married for thirty-eight years and have six children and six grandchildren. Dr. Buri has taught a university course on the Psychology of Marriage and the Family for the past twenty-five years. He is the author of the marriage book How To Love Your Wife, as well as over fifty research articles and book chapters. He is a frequent speaker on topics of dating, marriage preparation, marriage enrichment, parenting, and family life.
